Not a problem until you leave the hotel and go to different locations in the area and bump into someone local and unfortunately don't have good intentions or they are a habitual criminals and are familiar with tourist wearing their hotel name on the wrist. When you check in they ask you to put on a wrist band that you cannot take off (even if you try) so employees can verify you are a guest at the hotel.
